Jeffrey Moon and Associates Inc. (JMA) is a full-service land survey company with highly qualified personnel, cutting-edge technology and a record of client satisfaction that spans more than three decades.
Deep Roots
Our company traces its origins to the 1960s, when Conroe-based Arrowhead Surveying began serving mortgage, title and realty customers in the area. In the late 70s, aspiring surveyor Jeff Moon hired on with Arrowhead, rising through the ranks and eventually earning his Registered Professional Land Surveyor license.
With a decade of experience under his belt and a desire to meet the needs of a rapidly growing community, Jeff offered to buy Arrowhead from retiring owner Wally Tuttle. Wally agreed to the deal, passing along his advice for success: “Don’t let money drive you. Do the best job you possibly can, hire the right people and let the chips fall where they may.”
The company, now re-branded Jeffrey Moon and Associates Inc, began operation in 1987. The next three decades saw steady expansion in the size and scope of services offered. JMA became a trusted resource not only for residential customers, but also for commercial developers and public sector clients.
In 2017, JMA acquired another local survey company, Glezman Surveying Inc., further expanding our client base and adding another professional surveyor, as well as field and support staff.
Ready for The Next Decade
Today’s JMA is a mixture of young talent and seasoned veterans. Jeff Moon, Vice President/Owner, remains active in daily operations.
JMA has three field crews with a full-time staff of ten that includes three Registered Professional Land Surveyors and three survey technicians.
We are committed to remaining at the forefront of advancing survey technologies, never forgetting Wally’s advice about the value of hard work, quality service and professionalism.

Service
We built our reputation by providing responsive service and solid value for you. Our proposals include a complete definition of the project scope and specific timelines for delivering survey results. For larger projects, we provide periodic updates and status reports.
Technology
We utilize the latest technologies to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of our services. For example, our UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle or "drone") surveys improve speed and efficiency in providing detailed photos and videos of large expanses of property and areas that are difficult to access on foot.
Community Support
As a company, and as individuals, we want to make a positive impact on our industry and in the communities where we work. We are members of the Texas Society of Professional Land Surveyors, the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce, the Conroe Noon Lions Club and the Montgomery County Fair Association.
